Thanks for the reply.
My car doesn't have the factory wiring behind the interior lights, iv checked.
BMW confirmed that the car wasn't fitted with mic on the original order.
There must be a way to wire the mic into the loom somewhere, or directly into the stereo.
I'll keep looking for now and hopefully someone can help.
