My car has exactly 45k miles and from time to time I get the Engine malfunction/limp mode indicator. So I thought new spark plugs may be in order. Went to the local dealer and found out that they are $27 each
The parts guy said that if it was his car he would not replace the spark plugs at this point, as BMW parts are designed to last 80-100k miles. So I left without buying. Any other source for those spark plugs? ECS tuning has them for $19.50 each incl. shipping&handling. After reading the horror stories here I am reluctant to order from 3rd party sources.
I am going to take the spark plugs out and have a good look at them. I may post pics later.
Any advice?
