Why even mention a Miata when just about any $1000 used motorcycle will give you many more thrills (and
will win you a lot of drag races)? Ultimately, it doesn't make much sense to debate the value of a brand new car on the basis of what's available on the used market. A used Miata and Fit are horrible,
horrible values, if fun+utility/$ is your only criteria.
