I mean still could be the "Soft" sidewall that the michelins have compared to a stiffer lower TW tire, but most likely not the case assuming the e90 and the mini are using comparable tires. It's probably going to be pressure and alignment like you said.

People sometimes complain about the slow steering rack in the car, I guess there's a difference between the regular one and the active steering one, but I wouldn't know, only driven mine.

But yeah, get your toe set to 0 in the front, and maximize the camber.
