The biggest difference between the 135i M-Sport 6 piston brakes and a BBK is the rotor. Our stock rotors are thin and can't handle as much heat, so the heat is transferred to the calipers (pistons and fluid).

As the others have said: if you're tracking the car A LOT you will want to invest in a BBK. If you're doing mainly street driving or autoX, you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

Best bang for the buck brake upgrade IMHO: SS lines, DOT4 fluid, Cool Carbon pads and titanium shims.
