I'm running stock run flats and they do horribly but hold up. When I say horribly, I mean you can feel them not gripping in all aspects of driving. When you accelerate hard, you feel wheel slip, when braking hard you can just feel the wheels not braking as hard as actual tires should, and when cornering they just don't hold as well and that's really the most disappointing part.

I'm using KWv2 and am quite happy, though I think H&R would be fine if that's what you wanted to use. I'm going to say persian54 has the right of it though, run stock first, and then decide on what you want to do.

Personally, I'd like more track time more than anything else (experience and practice does more for you than you think). For my car, I need new tires soon, so new tires and wheels make sense. I'm going to go with a squared set up, and probably buy a fifth wheel to bring as a spare.

I got an upgraded intercooler, which helps keep oil temps down, but in the future I'd also like to put in an actual oil cooler. I wanted Advan, but the price is a little too high. I have ER's intercooler, and their shop is local. The price is lower, and they have a louvre covering the back to protect from damage. I think for the price, it's the best option.

I have a COBB AP, but honestly, it's unnecessary for me. The car is plenty fast in stock power, and I'm not the greatest racer out there. If you have the extra cash laying around, why not, but I would've rather put the money into the oil cooler. Also, as I said, the stock tires just don't grip, so the extra power goes unused. I don't regret getting COBB AP, it's a really great tool and definitely gives the car more oomph, I just think I could've gotten an oil cooler instead.

I want some lighter weight seats, and an LSD, both of those are what I'm aiming to get next. ER can lighten up your interior chassis and add a cage if you want, but I still use this as a daily driver.

Bottom line for me, not much I want to do but get more track experience. The mods I want help with the cars handling more than any power gains. Tired of those freakin Miatas always catching me on the corners...lol.

If you're free on the 23rd or 24th come out and check it out, even if just to spectate. If the track isn't full, you could always ask one of the organizers how much to join for the day if you decide to. I'm going on the 24th, and I'd be happy to talk to you about anything you're interested in then. If you want to caravan out, I'll be leaving Cerritos area about 6am. PM me for meet up location (not far from 605 ramp).
