I use a Fumoto valve on an Outback, and they do make oil changes very quick and painless. I don't mind it on the Outback because the plug is at a steep angle in the pan.

How long is the internal neck on your valve? One of the reasons I stayed away from them on the N52 is that any height on the neck raises the level of the remaining oil in the pan. Even if it's just 1/8″, that might prevent some metal shavings or other debris from leaving the pan. If it sits flush inside the pan, it's not an issue.
