n55 diverter valve
My car is finally FBO, and I've noticed that the diverter valve doesn't always release a sharp, distinguished release of air--its begun to have a drawn out flat sound. I assume that means its not holding the pressure well (this is first turbo car so still learning as I go)
I haven't been able to find where there's an upgrade of any kind (although read on Vargas that their rebuilds come with a stronger, metal DV) and after much thread reading here I've come to an inconclusive answer on my own.
Has anyone had to replace theirs? I assume a new OEM DV wouldn't hold the higher boost pressures all that long
