Seeking advice on an aftermarket GPS system

Looking to get an aftermarket NAV system for the 135i as luckily I don't have the i-Drive. Been looking mostly at the Garmins, specifically the 265WT series, which can be picked up for mid $200s at this point. Seems like a nifty little gadget, especially considering I want to retrofit bluetooth in the 135, and this particular model has a built in function so I can pair it to my phone and not worry about getting the expensive module from BMW. Also Garmin offers lifetime free real-time traffic with this unit, which in theory should be great (though reviewers say it is a bit tardy).

What has been your experience with aftermarket GPSs? Any other models in the Garmin lineup, TomTom, Magelan, etc.? Appreciate the advice.
