Yes 1M plugs are Bosch. I have seen issues on e46 swapping between NGK and Bosch. So I now go with whatever BMW puts in the model. Bosch. Also on coils BMW started to replace coils with Eldor ones for a bit but they have returned to Delphi. Those are the current coils. The coils are a "check" item, as long as they work whereas plugs are 45k miles or 3rd oil change at 15k miles (not counting 1200 mile break in service). But original 1M coils are weak and most of our cars haven't hit 45k miles. I recently changed my plugs and coils at 23K miles because I had original recalled coils and a slight miss at idle. Just to rule things out, I changed plugs and coils. If coils actually fail in USA I believe bmw replaces them on US cars. Mine is canadian so I paid out of pocket.
