I would try moving cylinder #5's coil pack to another cylinder. Also make sure the electrical tab on top of the coil pack is engaging the electrical harness fully and that is not getting "cocked" in there. (see the Cobb video)
And of course you could always try buying one new spark plug from BMW and seeing if that changes anything.
