It auto shifts at redline anyway - put it into first and press on accelerator - shift back to D mode when you hit fifth gear. Then you get your 6 gears automatic with your definition. :P. By the way, for the people who lives in LA your 135i only comes with two gears - 2nd and 3rd.

Otherwise, everyone else in the forum accepted that it's a 6 speed auto - try to find another 6 speed auto that blips on downshift too... oh... may be you would thought if it blips on downshift then it's really a manual, but you've bought an automatic...
