The 1M was a car that grew on people. It was not love a first sight, nor was it love at conception. People hated the 1-Series headlights, and considered the 1M to be something other than a "
real ///M car" because of its parts bin roots. Eventually the car grew on people, and now it is adored by many..........including myself. I've always liked the 1M, especially in VO.
