Honestly, as much as I want the car, I will be better off if it doesn't get here until the last week of May, or early June. That last two weeks will make significantly more money available to me for downpayment.
Don't get me wrong, if I found out it was going to be here in early to mid May I'd be all over it still, I'd just be financing more and then applying the money to the loan after I got it, but better to put it down and not finance as much in the first place IMO.
I didn't really want the car until late June when I was ordering, but I had to either take this allocation that was already scheduled for production, or wait until late July/early August. That would have been torture and I'm not sure I would have survived. :biggrin:
