As an update - yep, adding a single song to itunes on my phone allows me to now use the steering wheel controls with my Tune2Air. Had it for like a year and only now figured this out, oh well better late than never  |
I have noticed that with the song loaded back to iTunes the connection when I'm first trying to connect my phone to play pandora is inconsistent. I have to connect it a few times before it plays.
When I had deleted iTunes it connected easily. I might try deleting it again to see if that helps. I think it might be some interference between iTunes and pandora.
