On my car, the CDV delete helped a little, but a clutch stop helped a lot. I felt ridiculous paying $20 for a screw, but I love the improvement it made.

About SSK's, when I first looked at them, the BMW SSK was too expensive, so I tried B&M. The B&M SSK has very short throws, but it was too sticky shifting in and out of 2nd - I hated shifting 2-3. Then Tischer cut the price for the BMW SSK, so I replaced the B&M. The BMW SSK has throws a little longer than I'd like, but it isn't sticky in any gear, so I'm happy.
