Lucky for me, a local 1Addict, Swadeness lent me one of his 18 inch winter wheels, and I drove home on that. For me this exposed the problem with space saver tires. When you need to use one... you really just need a real full size tire. The next week I bought a steel 17" wheel and a 205/50HR17 tire. I also have the BMW jack kit that they sell.

Do you know if your steel wheel solution would work on the 1M?
If so, which steel wheel did you get exactly, I will order it.
