I say it will probaly be around $45k. Remember, the 1 series is supposed to be an "entry" level car to the brand. I don't think they quite hit their mark with the 1 series but that is the idea behind it.

If they price at $50k then the buyer could surely anny up the extra $5k for the M3 because spread over the couple of years that a car is paid off, the increase in the payment is nominal. I think fully optioned the M1 or whatever you want to call it will be slightly less than a base M3.
