Yes to both questions. I believe the exhaust part number just changed this year, however, it changed across the line. So, if anyone with an N54 wanted to get the exhaust this year, they would get the one with the new part number, not the one I have. What this proves is that they are interchangeable. BMW re-numbers their parts every so often, even if the change is just a weld spot.
