hey guys... i just ordered the a mount from ebay from a seller in hong kong. It's called the "Capdase Car Lighter Cradle Mount Charger iPhone 4 GPS". It plugs in to the cigarette lighter for power, provides an extra cigaretter lighter power plug and 2 usb power plugs. I should be receiving it in the next few weeks so I'll let you guys know how it goes. Seems to perfectly fit my needs. I'll be able to plug it in in front of my gear shifter and position the goose neck to the right behind my front cup holder... plus it will still give me a power plug to plug in my radar detector.
