Picked up a 116i M Sport (2007) for the Mrs yesterday. lovely little car, bought it from a private seller about 5 hours away from home. She really wanted grey m sport, so always said I would travel for the right car.
Anyway got home all OK, no probs. She took me to the shop and a red steering wheel flashed up with a padlock on it. Car still starts and drives like normal just has this on the dash?
Read online and a CAS update should fix this? My question is what's a rough price and what's the cost if it doesn't? Tried to ring the seller but no look as of yet! Cars are sold as seen anyway so I will have to deal with it.
Also anyone recommend anyone around Preston/North West area that could do the update? Some people say £20 on forums and some say they've paid £90 - I know which sounds better
