Thats funny bc I was asking those guys the same thing! I just kept my engine running every time we stopped - but left the hood closed. I think some of the guys with the open hoods think the engine cools down better with the hood open. ?

Yes, that is my silver 135i with the "BA" plates and the Performance Exhaust. I just put it one the week before... so it was a great way to break in the sound off the walls of the various Passes!

We all really had such a great time. Nothing like getting together a bunch of car guys for a nice weekend of driving the Alps.
