I bought an 08 135i with 88,000kms a month ago. Brakes became very noisy last few weeks. Pulled brakes apart to inspect/service- still had around 5mm pad front and rear. Came to find the caliper pistons are all badly corroded to the point they are crumbling apart. Have never seen this before on any vehicle ever. Been a technician for 10yrs. Any explanations?
