It's good practice to clean your calipers after every race weekend. Especially around the pistons. Simple green works well using a small nylon brush similar to a tooth brush. And rinse throughly with water, dry with micro fiber. What happens is the piston get jammed up with brake dust and prevents them from retracting smoothly or fully which can cause dragging on the rotor and excessive heat. We do this in motorcycle racing at the end of every day during a race weekend and it makes a big difference. Cheers 🍻
