Of course they know. Ford knew about the Explorer rollover issue BEFORE the first production model was built. Unlike Ford, BMW won't have to worry about lawsuits so it's really not a big deal to them. Especially the fact that the N54 engine wins award after award and accolade after accolade.

It's a turbo - turbo's have never been known for reliability anyway and when you hit 100k, don't expect good resale regardless.

Go get yourself a new 5.0 "Coyote" 2011 Mustang. No turbo.
