I tend to agree with you two on B8 for Sport pckge springs, but, there have been many contrary opinions. It seems over the years someone calls Bilstein and gets varying answers on B6 or B8.

I ordered Koni sports just to avoid getting it wrong. My sports springs sat the car a bit high as I think they were for a similarly optioned 135i. (I since decided to buy BMWP springs so the discussion is now academic for me.) I've tried to figure out thru all the discussion on B6 vs B8 and I think it comes down to the internal bumpstops.
