Swissvax has indeed a dedicated wheel wax called "Autobahn".

I always went with Poorboys Wheel Sealant in the past on my E87 118d and wheels looked like new when I had to turn it in (company car) after a year of driving (35,000 miles / year).

I did change the brake pads though as the stock BMW pads were turning my silver wheels black every week. Thanks to the wax it was coming of easily but less brake dust is less time spending on the wheels and working on the paint instead.

@TP 135i: thanks for the information. I'll guess I need to invest in a torque wrench now.
