Yes, but lets stick to BMW. I'm saying the M3 v8 should be smaller and lighter cheaper than what it is now. I drove the M3 on some back roads and never touched the top end. For street fighting, M1 will outperform and M3. On the track, you can mod the M1 and it will annoyingly nip at the M3 at a far lower cost. The M3 is big, if it where smaller/lighter you would say it would better as well. An e30 M3 can nip at the M3 on the twistys, but then the v8 is gone on the straight. In terms of handling I would disagree with you.
