yes on 2 & 4, I have 18ft lbs written down from somewhere else
I'm still not sure in the copper anti-seize, as enough ppl have commented that for NGK's, they don't need them, plus one of the NGK sites say not to.
I may look at the changed plug when I remove it to see if BMW used any
Yes I have used the grease in the boots before, not something I've not seen recommended
on BMW's yet)
Replaced mine last week.

NGK was original (6) with BMW printed @insulator

ECS or FCP sent NGK highest grade replacements. I went to the NGK America site for fitment confirmation-vendor spot on

One orig presented gap@0.64 ! - others worn to 0.49-0.50

New plugs (Box end label) said don't gap (preset=one reason $15 ea?)

Cannot help myself not checking-each was 0.44

Used copper a/s. Boot dressing too. Purpose to keep moisture (leaking vc gasket oil) wicking from the well up to the contact

Originals: Up to 34 mpg cross country. Never had a misfire, no symptoms, working perfectly at 66k

They owed me nothing. Change at any time 60k+

Thin-wall 5/8" spark-plug specific tool; new is best-it will securely capture to remove the plug; dropping it will necessitate a narrow pincer retrieval tool, kinda deep there...just sayin...

Vac out each well w/narrow long-reach vac nozzle before putting a tool near the plugs
