Haven’t posted much. But, I have been working.
Taking advantage of the increased space I have to work with while the core support is off; I finally got my GFB DV+ diverter valve installed. It’s been languishing in the glove box for some time now. I just dropped the three water pump torx bolts and was able to access the valve with a long 5mm T-handle from the front.
Paint was also ordered up yesterday. BASF Glasurit Line 55 for the color. P6H. It’s for real now.

I’ve got some work to do in the shock towers as well. Gotta make more room for more camber. A keen eye will notice a mistake I made when adjusting the suspension. I managed to break off the adjuster nub on the top of the strut! That will he headed back to TC Kline for repair soon.
CSF radiator needed a minor bit of cleanup to work with the 850w ppk fan. I’m very impressed with the amount of electrical bolstering BMW adds to support this fan. The wiring and relay are beefy.
