I bought mine in 2001 at a toy fair, I wanted to collect all of the E30 M3's Road and Race cars but they were to expensive back then and there are hundreds.
I didn't want to collect secondhand models so I started collecting the BMW MINI instead as it had just come out, I have bought all of the Minichamps E30 cars since including the Convertibles and Estates.
