I had RFTs replaced on my 130i recently, done at one of Jax's outlets and no damage to the rims or tyres. Prior to getting the tyres replaced I rang few tyre places and they all assured me that RFTs can be removed without any damage.
Guys replacing my tyres did excerisize caution and spent a bit of time removing the RFTs (took longer than with convetional tyres).
So the short version is any tyre place should be able to do it, they just need to take care while removing RFTs.
