No luck as yet. Neither BMW SA nor the Forsdicks DP have come back to me since my email to them setting out the issue and the telephonic discussions I had last week were mostly useless.
I haven't chased it up this week though as I've had bigger fish to fry.
If you feel like taking it further, write to
customer.service@bmw.co.za and lodge a complaint like I did. Perhaps if they have two similar complaints on record, they may take it a little more seriously.
