I have heard of some CF hoods sheering off at the bolts during a front end collision. They typically do not have the crumple zones built in. Now, if you get a high end model, then maybe it will have it.
I personally am going to wait to see the car and read some reviews before I start modding anything. I went through this with the STi in '04. The car is brand new and there will be a ton of development being done....but, it will take a little while.
