I'm looking for a cheap, lightweight, RWD 2+2 coupe...
Not much out there right now except the Mustang and RX-8 (miata,s2k,solstice,sky just won't cut it since they are 2 seaters).
G37 is too porky (3668 lbs for the 6spd), and all the other RWD cars are over my budget. Even tho' I can afford a $45K car, I just can't justify spending that much on a depreciating asset.
If the 128i doesn't come in at an attractive price point, I just might keep my current daily driver and buy a old weekend only car (20 y/o 911 or some other foolish toy
)
I've only got 65K on my CLS, so I'm not in any rush. With the GM alpha rumors flying around, rumors of a Lexus 1-series competitor, and Hyundai RWD tib coming out soon, there'll be lots of choices for affordable RWD cars soon enough...
