I say this because I know you were initially concerned about your high mileage and I respectfully suggest that you could potentially be on overly-heightened alert if that makes sense. What you ought to do is take the 25 mins and swap back on your stock setup and then go drive. That's probably the best diagnosis is going back to stock and checking. I'm by no means a mechanic as you well know since I'm the guy that dropped a grommet.
