A trip like this is a great experience for father/son bonding. Also another forum fellow will come with his father (who was also present last Summer - so his return means that this kind of trip is appreciated). My wife and daughter will also join again this year.
Do know that this trip is
not a race (such as Gumball 3000, etc.). The
journey itself is our goal, not the destination or position of arrival. We just want to have a good time together in the mountains. No competition, no chrono-timing, no prizes to win, no participation fee, no formal organization. Just a bunch of car enthusiasts getting together (and looking after each other) to drive in an amazing mountains area to enjoy the grand panorama and - by doing so - also enjoy life in a very pleasant way.
