I measured the outlet air temperature and watched the high and low side gauges. The high side pressure was a little low and the outlet temperature on the left side was near ambient. As I added a little R134a you could see the outlet temperature drop and the high side pressure go up. After adding about 8 oz the outlet temperature was about 60F.
