Currently I'm driving a BMW 325i Coupe. My girlfriend is pregnant so I'm thinking about an more practical car, especially with 5 doors to get the baby seat in the backseat. At first I thought at an BMW E90 sedan or touring, but I like the 1 series too, especially the 130i. I know the first generation 1 series is very tight, so I'm in doubt if it isn't too small for 2 persons+1 baby.

Does anyone have experience with this situation?
