You will have 2 cup holders, the first is behind the Idrive controller under the arm rest. I use mine to hold my XM tuner which is plugged into the aux port. The second holder is the clip on holder which is in the perfect position to hold a drink. It's only downfall is it is open at the bottom and condensation falls off of cans, bottles and cups not in coozies and drips on your passenger seat. I stick a microfiber cloth in the bottom of it to catch the sweat.
I like the Current Idrive, works great in finding addresses, any that I cant find or when I feel lazy, I just call concierge and have them send me the info to the nav system.
