I've mounted mine at the top of the winscreen to the left of the rear view mirror to avoid any issues with the hi beam assist sensor, also just had the top of the winscreen tinted to help hide where the camera sticks on the screen.
It doesn't look like the OP has the HBA sensor hence why no issues with the camera position:
