Would be nice if there were an app that can do the checksum test before hand so you could uninstall and find out now if what Cobb is saying is accurate and so others can check before going to the smog center. MHD does some of this by telling you which monitors are ready, maybe they can add this additional check.
I am surprised you are happy with the Cobb accessport (i am assuming you are running an OTS tune). They stopped development on this platform years ago, and what MHD has developed since being released is massive. My car ran like crap with the Cobb OTS map. I have run COBB, JB4, and MHD, and MHD is light years better.
I think we still need confirmation from MHD Tuning or Twisted Tuning as to why this checksum error may occur.
