Turns out I had the new lever in 180 degrees the wrong way (read perfectly backward
). Looks and feels much better now. Super short shifts, only slightly notchy, and retains the factory smoothness between gears. ZHP knob looks so much better than the factory M knob and per my girlfriend "looks a lot less cheap."
