Bingo. That is what it sounds like to me.

Btw... it's a big NoNO to mix RFTs with non RFTs. You should run all four of the same tires(and brand and model tire) on your car.

The TPMS module is located in the right rear of the trunk, under the sound insulation. It's probably been disconnected. That's what people do when they code out the TPMS sensors.

IF he coded in the ROW tire monitors... then the car would detect a flat tire via the car's wheel speed sensors. But since you said the car's TPMS did not warn you of a flat tire... the TPMS has been coded out.
