good call...... as BMW continues to disappoint with the weight of the M2.. M2C even heavier.... I am starting to really enjoy the 1M on track..

But ideally I would like to retire it to weekend drive/road trips/touring and picking up a used Cayman is becoming a more interesting idea... or possibly building a track only car like a spec E46...
Competition weight argument died pretty fast after reviews came out and nobody complained the added weight affected the handling. Actually they said car was feeling stiffer with better steering response, most likely the front brace.

Somebody also weighed an M2 and a Competition same scale back to back..

3565 vs 3454

I already plan to change wheels, midpipe to single center and muffler, go Catless etc etc it all will make it weigh close to what the M2 was.
