The outcome is that they swopped the exhaust from their demo onto mine and they say It's now ok. They also said my original exhaust didn't drone on the demo.
Unfortunately I can't test it just now as there's an absolute STORM raging outside with bits of tree branches and debris all over the roads and even the motorway.
I'll try it tomorrow when this weather has settled a bit and post up.
