Wow, the Isetta!
Believe it or not, I always wanted one of these cars. I first came to know about them when I saw a toy model inside a hobby store. At the time I wasn't even sure if it was a real.. but then my interest peaked and I started to research it. I remember borrowing books, cutting out pictures and posting them on my wall, and even going into a BMW dealership to ask, lol
This was when I was just a kid, yet the salesman was very friendly. He spent a long time (like 45 mins) finding info for me. In the end I came out with many new pics and details about the car that I had never seen before. Plus some interesting facts that he himself knew. I was quite surprised that anyone there cared enough to fill a young kid's curiosity.
That was probably when I decided I was going to one day buy a BMW (oh wait, I still haven't).
But this post has brought my interest in the car back, so who knows my first BMW may just be an old little Isetta!
