I installed this (with the HMS mids and stock dp) this spring. As someone who does not enjoy the raspy sounds that titanium brings, this sounds absolutely lovely! I really enjoy mine! |
HMS mids are completely unrestricted I believe, the sound/raspy suppression come from leaving your OEM DPs in place. It's more work to remove them, however, the DPs are a higher CEL count than the cats located in the stock mids and flow less I'm sure. -In short If you don't want the rasp leave some form of cat in place; OP
