I agree that lighter weight would require sacrifices, but I don't understand this comment.. makes it sound like Subaru makes light cars. The STI weighs 3395. The 135 weighs 3373. One of the many reasons I went with the 135. I also don't understand why people think 3400 pounds is too heavy, especially for a 'luxury' car. All the extra niceties and the required safety features add up. For me, 'too heavy' doesn't start till 3500.
