It will be an achievement if he manages to meet the 107% rule during Q1. If he does (or if stewards allow him anyway), the race this Saturday will be a grueling 90 minutes rollercoaster for him: faster car (one of the best), faster acceleration and deceleration, higher G-force, more stress to be processed by neck muscles, more sophisticated steering wheel tech, no tailor-made seat, longer race, worldwide media attention. If he even manages to finish the race, he will be physically and mentally knackered afterwards.

But on the other hand, it must be a dream come true - what an opportunity: driving a state-of-the-art Ferrari in real F1 qualies and, if he meets the 107% rule, participate in a real F1 race.

FP3 Red flagged after a shunt by Zhou. Also Sergeant clipped a wall. Verstappen "hit something in Turn 10". Welcome to the Jeddah circuit...

As you say the F1 car is a different kettle of fish for the youngster, it would be nice if he qualifies for the race and if he does stay out of trouble to finish the race even if he's last.
That's a heavy crash for Guanyu hopefully his team can rebuild the car for quali, will be quite a feat if they do.
Just seen MAX goes top in FP3 with charlie 2 tenths behind, roll on the quali
